One Piece Manga Guide
The manga series One Piece by Eiichiro Oda which began it's serial run in Shueisha's Weekly Shounen Jump, issu #34, 1997. The series currently has 44 Volumes, and is the fourth highest selling manga in the history of Weekly Shounen Jump. Volume 24 of One Piece is currently the most popular and highest selling novel of all time Originally, One Piece was to be only 5 years long, however, Eiichiro Oda has long passed this, reaching it's 10 year anniversary. The popularity of this manga is enemorous, and has been growing since the day it was released.
The story begins with the execution of the former Pirate King, Gold Roger. His last words were "My wealth and treasures? If you want it, I'll let you have it... search for it! I left all of it at that place." Ten years after Gold Roger was executed, Monkey D. Luffy, an inspired pirate himself, sets out to find a crew and search for Roger's hidden treasure, One Piece!
